Weddings
Each wedding ceremony is unique.
All ceremonies are designed with one goal in mind: personal, friendly & relaxed on your wedding day.
Contact me to create a bespoke ceremony.
As a registered solemniser and professional wedding celebrant, it’s a privilege to play a part in such a meaningful day in your lives.
Each ceremony I create is fully personalised — shaped around your story, your values, and the tone you want to set. We’ll stay in touch throughout the planning process to ensure the ceremony feels like a true reflection of you both.
I can share a wide selection of vows, readings, poems, and music ideas to inspire you, but you’re also welcome to include anything personal or meaningful to you. I’m always happy to include friends or family members in the ceremony if that’s something you’d like.
I work with couples of all backgrounds and identities, and I approach each ceremony with the same intention: to create something that feels real, thoughtful, and memorable for the right reasons.
If you’d like to include additional elements such as handfasting, ring warming, or a unity ritual, I can guide you through those options too.
I’m based in Dublin and regularly travel across Ireland (and beyond - particularly France, Italy, Spain) for ceremonies.
If you’d like to chat about your plans or have any questions about how it all works, feel free to get in touch — I’d be happy to talk through everything.
The Process
Step 1 –
Choose your wedding date and secure your venue (if you haven’t already).
Step 2 –
Get in touch to check my availability and receive a quote. You can fill out the contact form on my website by clicking here.
Step 3 –
If I’m available and it feels like the right fit, we’ll arrange a quick Zoom or phone call so I can walk you through how the process works. No pressure to book — it’s just a chance to chat through your plans and see if this approach suits you both.
Step 4 –
Once you’ve decided to go ahead, I’ll send you a confirmation email and outline the next steps, including what’s needed to register your marriage with the HSE.
Around six months before your wedding day (or sooner, if needed), we’ll have a planning meeting to go through everything. I’ll send you a first draft of your ceremony along with examples of readings, vows, and optional elements like handfasting or ring warming.
We’ll continue shaping the ceremony together, with as many tweaks as needed, until it feels personal, comfortable, and right for you as a couple.
The Legal Bit - What You Need To Know
To be legally married in Ireland, you must:
1. Notify the HSE (Health Service Executive) at least 3 months before your wedding date.
You’ll need to make an appointment with a Registrar of Civil Marriages — this can be done at any HSE office, regardless of where your wedding will take place.
2. At that meeting, you’ll be issued a ‘Marriage Registration Form’ (MRF) – this is the legal document I will sign with you on the day of your ceremony.
3. You’ll need to provide my name and details during your HSE appointment, as I am your registered solemniser. I’ll provide you with all the information you need for this step once your booking is confirmed.
4. After the ceremony, you return the signed MRF to the HSE — either in person or by post — to complete the legal registration of your marriage.
